I love a good fucked-up mentor/mentee ship! Menou asking Flare to make her the villain and them both holding each other's faces as Menou tells Flare she wants to become her was a gift to me personally. I love their whole dynamic, how Flare knows how deeply fucked-up she is, and so does Menou - but Menou wants to lean into it. I love the tether of genuine caring between them, I love the vibe that Menou is the only one who really understands Flare, I love all of it.
